Ruby Red

I spent the day doing something rather exciting today, which I'm keeping off the internet for a couple of weeks, even though I want to tell everyone. Anyway, today I decided to dress a bit more casually than I have been dressing for it but still with a twist of formal.

This is what I came up with

The pencil skirt and the brogue-style pumps add that twist of formal I was hoping for. Then the jacket and vest tee bring in that casual element. 

Those shoes are fabulous. I got them about five years ago and have seriously over-warn them, they still look practically new though. If you want a pair of trusty shoes, visit River Island!

The necklace just makes the outfit though, I adore it.

A gift from an old friend

It always give an outfit a little exciting 'oomph'. 

This was also another attempt of self-photography and my sister let me try out her Nikon for these photos. What type of camera do you use?
