Friday's Favourite: Accessory

I struggled with today's Friday's Favourite because when I was thinking about all the accessories I own I realised that I bought hardly any of them myself, so many people give me them as gifts and my collection's so big that it seems silly when I do buy myself a piece of jewellery. Prepare for a long Friday's Favourite in a couple of weeks when I do favourite gifted accessory!

Anyway, the necklace I am featuring today is my second favourite I own. It's a pearl necklace I got from Jersey Pearl, read on to find out more about it!

My family and mine's favourite holiday destination is the island of Jersey just of the coast of England. It is just gorgeous and the weather is nothing like the miserable rain we get here but in fact glorious sunshine. They have two main jewellery shops, Jersey Gold and Jersey Pearl. I have a big love for pearls so Jersey Pearly has always been my favourite!

In Jersey Pearl they have a big fish tank with oysters in, you can pay to fish one out and whatever is inside the oyster you get to keep and then make into jewellery. When I did it I got this gorgeous white pearl, its 35mm which apparently makes it a large pearl. I had it made into a necklace which I just love wearing! It's really classy and goes with everything :)
