Okay I think I have to confess I am feeling very dissatisfied with my wardrobe at the moment so yet again I am saying to you I don't have a favourite pair of sunglasses. I did have up until about a week ago but then I left them on the drivers seat of my car, forgot and then sat on them! Thus, they are broken. This now leaves me with a pair of aviators which looks fabulous but do nothing for keeping the sun from your eyes and a gorgeous funky blue pair which doesn't look so good when going to the office. I am going to have to go shopping for sunglasses at the same time as for handbags! (Although, I do have a birthday coming up in a few weeks so I am leaving hints for Sam here and there)
My dilemma with buying sunglasses is how little I can pay to get a decent, quality pair that will last. Wedding bells ring in my head every time I go to buy something which isn't related to my coming wedding or isn't an item for my future new house. I would never buy a pair from Primark but at the beginning of summer I was doing a street performance and Sam was struggling to see because of the sun and he had forgotten his so had to buy a pair from there. They are still going strong, look amazing and cost him £2 so I'm impressed! I generally don't have that much luck with things lasting, though, so I don't think I'm going to risk it.
We all know that the ultimate pair of sunglasses is the Ray-Ban, slightly more than a pair at Primark would cost you but a million times more stylish. And as the summer is leaving us it is the best time to snap up a summer bargain in the sales. Head over to eBay too, plenty of people sell them after wearing them just once and twice and during the winter months not many people are bidding on summer clothing so you're sure to pick up a bargain!
Anyhow here are my favourite picks from their latest collection...
There were no prices on the website, I think prices just depend on the supplier. If you're in the UK and looking for a pair then I suggest looking at Tesco Opticians. They're selling all glasses and sunglasses frames as buy one get one free currently and they stock a collection of classic Ray-Bans. You don't need to have a prescription either to buy from there, you could just get them fitted with plain glass.
Well, I really need to get to bed. I have a very early start tomorrow as me and my mum are going to have a stall at a vintage fayre for the first time! If you haven't seen already I sell vintage clothing and my mum sells a variety of vintage items at Vintage by Dezign. Goodnight folk, Georgia

Friday's Favourite: Handbag
I don't particularly have a favourite handbag, I want to get another one so any inspiration would be much appreciated! I do have this really cute and chic Cath Kidston bag perfect for shopping which I received as a gift at Christmas. Cath Kidston have a huge range of bags with all sorts of different vintage-esque patterns. I thought I would pick a few of my current favourites!
My only thing with Cath Kidston is that I do find them a little repetitive and there are a lot of companies copying the pattern out there so it makes it look even more repetitive. That aside they are an incredibly cute brand and if you like vintage but don't like to wear/use something that someone else has already used then it's the perfect range for you.
I have just come back from a last minute break to the Peak District with Sam (feeling very relaxed!) so I didn't get a photo of my bag so I dug up a snapshot from an old outfit post.

Friday's Favourite: Fall (Autumn!) Jacket
I don't have a particular fall-back jacket which I always reach for at Autumn, every year it changes. I have an over-sized mustardy-brown (I know, I'm so technical) cardigan which I got two sizes too big in a New Look sale at the end of last summer which is perfect for the Autumn. The colour and style of knit is really autumnal. This is me wearing it in the Spring of this year in the beautiful country of Mexico, thank you to my fiancée for the photo!
This year I'm really into blazers. I got two of the same one in black and one in beige from H&M and they are perfect for throwing over any outfit, whether it's for work or shopping. They're sort of a boy-style: long, with no shape so they go with anything and they're not too long that you can't wear them with jeans. They keep me warm which is fantastic because I always feel the cold! Here they are...
I found some other styles which I love on the internet!

Friday's Favourite: Boots
I don't wear boots that much but I do have the two essentials: a pair of ankle boots and a pair of knee-high boots. I got the knee-high boots the winter before last and didn't wear them last winter so when I get them out this year they'll seem like a new pair! They're a great pair from Flyleaf so they're great quality and I expect them to last for years. My ankle boots are the pair that I thrifted a few months ago for £2.50. These are really great quality and really well made, as everything was back in the day.
For some reason every Friday when I come to write my Friday's Favourite post... Something happens and stops me! Well tonight was no different, all my area had a power cut and by the time it got fixed I was just going out. This also meant that I had no light to take photos in. Here's hoping for better luck next week!
I went for a mooch on the internet for some of my favourite pairs out to buy at the moment, what do you think about my choices?
Studding is one of my new favourite trends at the moment, here's a selection of my favourite studded boots...
What are your favourite style of boots at the moment?

Friday's Favourite: Ring
So it's pretty obvious which of my rings is my favourite at the moment... (Hint, my engagement ring :D). I thought I would show you my next two favourite rings I have, both from my parents. The first one I got from them on my 18th birthday. It is an antique piece and is just gorgeous. It was probably once someone else's engagement ring. It's a really classy, feminine ring. It looks fabulous by itself or paired with other rings - it's not too much an over-statement that it looks too much with other pieces but then it is such a classy piece that it looks great by itself as well.
I like to wear it with this other antique ring my parents got me as a Christmas present. I have never seen anything like this ring, it is just so unique and almost 'quirky'. I would name all the stones for you but I am so tired and my bed is calling me! They are held in place by gold 'bearings'... I'm not really sure what you call them but I'm sure you can see what I mean. How beautiful is it and it looks great when the sun is shining on it! Both these antique rings look great on the same hand and I just love them so much. I'm incredibly grateful to my parents for these two beautiful rings.

Friday's Favourite: Photo of the Queen
Good Friday everybody! Today's Friday's Favourite is supposed to be favourite animal print piece but I don't own any animal print! Is that a bad thing? I would like to get a pair of cheetah/leopard print loafers but they're not at the top of my shopping list.
I have been wanting to share this photo with you, though, so here is my Friday's Favourite photo of the Queen! What better time to be patriotic than during the Olympics, hey. I saw this photo in a copy of Instyle a couple of months back and went for a search on the internet for it because I loved it so much. The Queen looks incredibly stunning, the dress really flatters her. Just look at her waistline! I love any dress which is made up of dainty lace, as well. There's something about this that reminds me of Audrey Hepburn's style. (I love Audrey Hepburn so much!) Wherever the Queen is, in my eyes, she will always be the most glamorous person there.

Friday's Favourite Gifted Accessory: My Engagement Ring... That's right I am now engaged!!
How perfectly has this blog post fitted in?! On Wednesday 1st August of this week, my amazing and gorgeous best friend and boyfriend proposed to me! So of course, my favourite gifted accessory is my ENGAGEMENT RING! Boy, does it sound good to say that. I have some gorgeous other pieces of jewellery from Sam and my parents which I want to show you all sometime but at the moment I'm just too excited about the fact that I'M ENGAGED!
So, here is the beautiful ring...
My fiancée (I love saying that!) has such gorgeous taste. It's an antique ring, 18ct gold and 1/2ct diamonds. I love the shape, I don't think I've ever seen a rectangular ring before. It has two unusual grooves in the band either side of the diamonds as well. It really is one of the most unique rings I've ever seen and I'm so lucky to be the one donning it. I'm even luckier to have Sam though.
Carry on reading for more pictures and of course the (shortened!) story of our engagement!

Friday's Favourite: Hat & 100 Followers!
In the winter I love wearing a wool beret, they make any outfit so chic but in the summer I don't wear hats often. I do have this straw Panama hat which I love.. I got it for £1 of a local market, only been worn once and they RRP at around £50. Can I hear, bargain?!
Carry on for my outfit photo's and to find out more about why 100 followers is so so exciting for me!

Friday's Favourite: Dress ...A Day Late
I would like to start this post with an apology.. I haven't blogged since last Friday! I've not been well so I've stayed away from my netbook. It's been one of those weeks... Ill and then my car failed its MOT! I'm currently having to spend the weekend with out my poor little PG Tips :( Anyway to expand the apology even further it is now Saturday morning so this post is past late! I tried to write it last night but I fell asleep whoops.
Picking my favourite dress is a hard one because generally whichever dress is my latest one it is also my favourite. This dress was one my mum got me from Warehouse, I've had it for a few months now and I just love it. These photos were taken after a party two months ago but I am planning on taking some more outside in the daytime soon.
I love the colour of this dress and the cut is really nice. It has a low neckline at the back and I love the bow-tie which covers the low neckline at the front. I think it goes great with my stocking tights, I just love them. Carry on reading for more photos!

Friday's Favourite: Heel
I have had my most absolute favourite heels for two years now and they are still going strong! I intend them to be going strong for a lot longer too. I got them for £40 from Topshop which was great. My old dance teacher worked there too so I got her staff discount on top of that... BARGAIN!
We just got back from a family meal when I took this photo so they are a bit wet unfortunately. I absolutely love these boots because they go with absolutely anything! They're perfect for just a shopping trip or a night out. I have much love for them! Thank you to Topshop and my old dance teacher.
Moving on... I have an exciting announcement! Firstly, next week marks my blogs four month anniversary! Thank you to all my lovely readers who share love on each post, it really encourages me to carry on blogging. Thank you also for my followers, it's amazing that people enjoy what I write enough that they want to follow me. This leads on to my second announcement, once I reach 100 followers to celebrate I will be hosting my second GIVEAWAY! So keep checking back to find out who my sponsor is, what the prize will be and when it's happening. I'm so pleased I can share this with you all.
Right, it's late so I am off. Goodnight lovelies, Georgia X

Friday's Favourite: Accessory
I struggled with today's Friday's Favourite because when I was thinking about all the accessories I own I realised that I bought hardly any of them myself, so many people give me them as gifts and my collection's so big that it seems silly when I do buy myself a piece of jewellery. Prepare for a long Friday's Favourite in a couple of weeks when I do favourite gifted accessory!
Anyway, the necklace I am featuring today is my second favourite I own. It's a pearl necklace I got from Jersey Pearl, read on to find out more about it!

Friday's Favourite: Eyeliner
My second blog post in one day! I don't think this has ever happened before lol. I was reading through some blog posts the other day and found a great post on Amberlee Tea where she had listed different fashion blogger challenges. You can read her list of challenges here. I decided to do the 30 favourites month. I unfortunately don't have time to write a post every day for a month so I am going to do a Friday's Favourite post every Friday as Friday's are my day off work!
Today's Friday's Favourite is my favourite eyeliner.

| Avon Glimmerstick Eyeliner - Black £6 or 2 for £8 |
I am not an expert when it comes to eyeliner, I can do it to look simple and nice but anything fancy generally is out of my league. I find that liquid liners smudge far too easy and I end up with it all over the place when I try with them. But then I find ordinary pencil liners always just rub off after only a couple hours of wear and I need something that I don't have to keep reapplying.
My mum introduced me to this eyeliner from Avon. It's a mix between a pencil and a liquid liner, kind of like a thin felt tip pen. It's super easy to apply and rarely smudges, it lasts all day too. Avon is so well-priced, more often than not I find that it's on sale.
I would show you what it looks like on but my hayfever is hurting my eyes and I don't fancy making it worse haha. Take a look at the product on their site though, they don't have it up in black at the moment but they have a range of other colours.
So what eye liners do you guys have hiding in your makeup bags? Which one would you recommend? Let me know if you decide to do any fashion challenges and send me the link to them.. I'd love to read them! Read on to see what else my fashion challenge involves...
