Nail Designs and Ted Baker Shorts

My family is one of the most patriotic families I know.. Union Jacks are one of our favourite things and the year of the Jubilee and London Olympics gives us a great reason to have the bunting out! To celebrate I did my youngest sisters nails with these Rimmel nail stickers. I was struggling to get them to stick properly so I had the "genius" idea to cover with them with clear nail polish... This was not good! They started to flake pretty much straight away. I would appreciate any tips for getting nail stickers to stay on! They looked epic whilst they lasted though!

Shopping on a Budget: Earrings

I was reading Instyle and came across this beautiful pair of earrings by Prada. They're beautiful! They're a beautiful price too at £320 I could only dream of affording them. If you can afford that and want to buy them, the Prada website says that they're currently sold out but they have lots of variations on the flower with a jewel drop earring.  Don't drool too long while you stare at their website ;)

Thrift Finds

I had a spare hour yesterday so I drove to a nearby village to try out their two charity shops. They were the tiniest stores ever rammed to the brim with clothes, furniture, ornaments, dvds, videos... You get the idea! Have you ever noticed that smell antique and second hand shops have? No matter what you buy and take home, they all have that same smell. I find it funny that it's always the same. I've not decided whether I like it, I don't dislike it but it just lasts for ages.

So, I didn't get much but here are my finds...

I wanted a pair of heeled ankle boots for a while now and picked up these beauties. They're so unique and gorgeous! Real leather, made in Brazil. I'm looking forward to getting these bad boys out later this afternoon when I go to the theatre with my mum :) (I don't know why the photo has taken it upon itself to upload portrait rather than landscape!)
